- Drink enough water throughout the day to keep your mouth naturally clean and hydrated.
- Include foods rich in Vitamin C (like amla, lemon, oranges) to strengthen gums and reduce bleeding.
- Chew food slowly and mindfully. This boosts saliva, which helps protect teeth and gums.
- Avoid sticky sweets, sugary drinks, and chewing tobacco. They weaken gum tissues and promote plaque buildup.
- Reduce very spicy, overly sour, or extremely hot foods. They can irritate sensitive gums.
- Include natural antimicrobial foods like clove, black pepper, and turmeric in cooking (also found in Forgum ingredients like Lavang and Maricha).
- Use Forgum Powder twice daily after brushing. Gently massage it on gums and rinse after a few minutes.
- Rinse your mouth with lukewarm water after every meal to remove leftover food and reduce bacterial growth.
- Avoid brushing too hard or with a stiff-bristle brush. It can cause gum damage.
- If you clench your jaw or grind teeth, practice jaw relaxation techniques or talk to a dentist.
- Limit alcohol and smoking. They dry the mouth and delay healing of gum tissues.
- Breathe through your nose. Mouth breathing can dry out gums and increase inflammation.
