Panchatikta Ghan Vati

  • Eat light, warm, and freshly prepared meals to ease digestion and balance body heat.
  • Include herbs like turmeric, cumin, ginger, and black pepper. They help digestion and reduce toxins (ama).
  • Avoid fried food, cold drinks, junk food, or leftovers. These can slow down recovery and increase toxins.
  • Stay well-hydrated. Drink warm water, herbal teas (like coriander or tulsi), or light rice water frequently.
  • Skip dairy products if there is congestion, mucus, or body heaviness.
  • Rest is essential. Try to stay indoors and avoid exertion until your energy returns.
  • Avoid direct exposure to cold wind, A/C, or late-night screen use. It can disturb body temperature regulation.

  • Bathe with lukewarm water only. Avoid cold showers while still experiencing feverish symptoms.
